Objectives and Justification
To build human resource capacity in computer science discipline in both the public and private sectors, especially in universities; to generate a pool of candidates for the M.Sc. in Computer Science programme; to address the increasing demand for computer science training at Postgraduate diploma level; to develop professionals with theoretical and practical skills in the ICT sector.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science (PGDCS) Programme is offered to give an opportunity to prospective students to undertake training in Postgraduate diploma level within Uganda. This programme also provides an avenue to those already engaged in the ICT-sector without Postgraduate diploma qualifications in ICT to join the PGDCS Programme.
