# New Wave Technologies, Amtullah Globe Trotter Ltd, and CIT Scooped Millennium Science Initiative Grant

The grant winning proposal titled €œAutomated Cargo Route and Vehicle Management; Investment in Computer Based Management for Improved Productivity and Profitability€„¢ was submitted under the Application for Technology Platform Mode 1 funding under the Uganda Millennium Science Initiative Component 1: Window C. The project that started in October 2008 is worth approximately US$ 56, 190. At the end of this project an application/software will be developed to facilitate the tracking and management of cargo vehicle that are involved in long route cargo handling.
