Prospective students

Choosing a place to study is an existing yet a difficult decision. We are pleased that you are considering Makerere University School of Computing and IT (CIT) for your study. CIT is one of the many Faculties at Makerere University. CIT is often referred to as a one-stop centre for training, research and consultancy in computing, ICT and other related areas and is ranked high in Sub-Saharan Africa. With competent, qualified and motivated staff, CIT is positioned as the fastest growing school in the region. The number of students applying to join the school, the support from partners in the North and the growing number of collaborations with leading Universities and organizations in the world exhibits this fact. Plans are underway to have CIT transformed into a College of Computing and Internet Technologies by 2008.
