A total of 939 students from the College of Computing and Information Sciences graduated on 17th January, 2012 with Diplomas, Bachelors, Masters and PhDs. Of these, 55 got First Class Degrees and Joseph Lutaaya (Bachelor of Computer Science) was the overall best student with a CGPA of 4.80.
The new PhD holders are Benedict Oyo – PhD in Information Systems. Sarah Birungi Kaddu, Hellen Byamugisha and Nathaniel Mukungu got PhDs in Information Sciences.
We particularly congratulate our staff members: Seith Muhairwe and Maureen Twikirize who will be awarded a Masters in Data Communication and Software Engineering and Masters in Information Science respectively.
